The international and multidisciplinary scope of the project calls for collaborations between researchers based in different countries and stemming from distinct historical subdisciplines. Most members of the Core Team are based at the University of Oxford, but their regional specialisations and backgrounds are highly diversified. What is more, a number of Affiliated Scholars from other institutions have enthusiastically lent their support to this transnational, comparative investigation.
